At a time when financial institutions were creating smaller venues to expand access and provide services for their customers, The Riverside Bank determined to locate a smaller branch office in the skyway system of Minneapolis.  Its creation was a pilot for the bank with a direct goal to increase exposure and clientele.

The design needed to be inviting and welcoming even in its active surroundings and compact space.  The solution took on the challenge by blending formal service areas with personal scale and detail.  Each counter integrated a small flower vase to indicate the care for each customer.  Far from the traditional closed-door environments of banks, offices here were treated with transparency, but allowed privacy with frosted elements in the glass.
