This new hospital, in the heart of Providencia in Santiago, Chile, comes from a critical initiative to create a more fluid and state-of-the-art healthcare facility for La Asociación Chilena de Securidad (ACHS) and the affiliated workers it serves.  After numerous smaller projects, additions, renovations, and repurposing of space over 45 years of existence, it was time for ACHS to look towards modernizing and creating a new, more functional, and cohesive stage to provide healthcare at a high international level.

 The design not only covers the levels of critical services required to serve its community, but it will now do so within standards and guidelines matching the quality of international practice and patient care.  The full-block campus embraces a comprehensive hospital program of services, along with the principles of patient centered care to provide a contemporary facility and progressive practice for its extended community.
