Hemet, California was selected as the location for a new county courthouse to serve the extended communities in the San Jacinto Valley. This was part of a comprehensive growth plan developed by the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), a staff agency of the Judicial Council of California, set in place to provide consistency of service and quality of facility throughout the state.

 

Set in Riverside County, in a region known for its expansive agricultural lands, this new courthouse would now provide the area with the critical court and recording services it deserves.  The design set to create a recognizable strength and dynamic in the community, one that defines itself with both structure and stability.
